The LiU Zeppelin project is a great example of how repetitive processes can be automatically configured. Here the best examples are the outer plates as well as the inner structure.
8th place
The Colosseum of Rome is a very well executed project where both the shape and elements of the colosseum are user choices. The various elements of the colosseum can be automatically selected and placed out by the user in order to retrieve the final model.
9th place
With the Immersive Train project, the user is able to chose train type, chair type and windows to intuitively configure a unique layout. One of the best features of this project is that new CAD models can be added to the library for configuration, not locking the user to a pre-set CAD library.
10th place
The Legendary Warbirds project is a balanced result of great CAD modeling and automation of repetitive CAD elements. The participants have been able to model and automatically configure conceptual structure of a WWII like Aircraft.
